I didn't care for his voice or his arrangements and never could figure out what people saw in his music of the time. However, after listening to this album, I hear mature and interestingly jazzy treatments of some great classics. I love the vocals, the arrangements and the overall interpretations of these songs. A friend played this album for me and dared me to guess who was singing them. I would never have guessed Rod Stewart to be the artist. Keep up the good work Rod!!! More Reviews
