Comment: I have not used this scale much so am still not sure how accurate it is. I weighed an item today and took it to the post office and it was 1 oz. heavier at the post office. I have only used the battery so want to test the scale for accuracy when using the cord. Also, when weighing a large item you cannot see the read out.

Comment: Purchased this scale in July and it works fine except for one small problem I encountered today. I needed to use the unit in battery mode for the first time since I purchased it, and discovered that the battery terminals (of my unit at least) do not fit on a standard 9 volt battery.
I tried a couple different brands of batteries (not off brands) and neither brands would fit the terminals. I have contacted Amazon regarding this problem, but it is well over the 30 day refund period. Just something you may want to be aware of before purchasing. Oh yeah, this USPS postal scale was made (of course) in China.

Comment: I just got this and plugged it in and I know it works, I haven't actually used it yet for any packages I'm to send but I'm hoping it will be accurate!

Summary: Great for Small Office
Comment: This is a great postage scale. I have a small business and have wasted lots of postage over the years "estimating" what the correct postage would be and adding an extra stamp or two "just to be sure". The scale is very accurate and will eventually pay for itself.

Comment: I've been using this scale regularly for over a month now to weigh packages that I sell via the Amazon Marketplace. It's compact, simple to use, and looks to be well built. It's exactly what I was looking for in a postal scale.
