Customer Rating: Summary: Great device but lasted only a week. Comment: This would be a great timer. It is easy to set. Keeps the settings when you change batteries. Resists water. Allows manual override and lets you remove the timer from the valve to program. The big problem that it shares with most of these timers is lack of reliability. Mine stopped working within a week. The company was very easy to deal with and offered to ship a new one next day but I need a timer now or my plants will die so I will return it to Amazon.
Customer Rating: Summary: Orbit Timer Comment: This timer is easy to program and use. I've only had it for a month but it seems to work fine. I like the 6 yr warranty. Other timers have much shorter warranties and only last a few months.
Customer Rating: Summary: The best water timer Comment: As a devoted Arizona gardener I have an especial need to keep all of my plants correctly watered. I have found that the Orbit Digitak Watering Timer to be the best and most dependable timer for meeting all of my watering needs. I recommend it most highly.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Comment: This device is significantly better than the one it replaced. Easy to set up, easy to install, works reliably. I'll probably get another one for my backyard come spring!
Customer Rating: Summary: Timer is great, but not very well made Comment: I just finished disconnecting this timer, and tomorrow I will return it to the hardware store where I bought it. I have had it for about two weeks. The timer mechanism works just fine, but apparently the valve doesn't: I have a continual leakage when the water is supposed to be off. I just placed an order on Amazon for two more Gilmour timers to add to the ones I already have--they are the only timers I have used that have always been reliable.
