Mantova grape seed oil is a new product that is added to our line of oils. High in antioxidants and possessing cholesterol-lowering properties, grapeseed oil is benefiting from the publics realization that transfats are bad. Grapeseed oil also has a 485 degree F. smoke point, almost twice that of olive oil. This ensures that no negative flavors will be introduced to foods when either searing or sautéing. Summary: Grapeseed oil is a great substitute!
Comment: I've been using grapeseed oil for more and more cooking and have been very pleased with the results. Mantova Grapeseed oil comes in glass, typical of the higher grade products and we like it very well. I have seen that this oil doesn't smoke as much when frying. I read that grapeseed oil doesn't break down at higher temperatures as does vegetable oils. The flavor is very light and smooth.

Comment: The only oil I use for popping popcorn. All the good components of a cooking oil while bringing up fluffy, perfect popcorn. The bottles arrived in pristine condition and have served their purpose admirably since.
