Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.250 inch (6.4mm) diameter and 0.100 inch (2.5mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 2 lbs. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C). Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap together

Summary: I recomend this product
Comment: It a good product, they a litle small but this product are great for hanging picture or paper's in your refrigerator. they are very strong, the only problem is that they chip a litle to easy.. So try not to let them fall on a hard surfaces such a tlle floor. Constant smashing againts each other can cause the to chip a litle also. Otherwise I would give this product 5 stars. Oh the shipping was fast and they do have a pretty good container for it, so yes this is a good product to buy.

Summary: Warning!!!! Can be Very Dangerous
Comment: These are fantastic magnets - very small and strong and useful for a lot of things, *BUT* you need to be extremely careful to keep them away from little kids and pets. These magnets are so strong that if a child or pet ingests two of them and they end up in different spots in the digestive tract, they will pull towards each other until they kill the tissue and eventually pierce the intestine to get to each other. Needless to say, this causes a very serious, even life threatening, medical condition. Terrifically useful and handy item, but they must be used and deployed with care.

Summary: Strong little magnets
Comment: I needed small magnets to hold up some pictures on a sheet of stainless steel for wall decor. They're small enough so as not to distract from the photos and they're coated too for added aesthetics. Because they're strong suckers and they're thin, I'd recommend SOME nail length to pry these apart. These magnets are also way cheaper from AMAZON. At a local craft store, I saw similar magnets for 4 dollars for a pack of 6!

Comment: Bought for a magic trick and found I only needed 2 of these tiny magnets due to their incredible strength! Not sure what I'll do with the other 48, but they're fun to play with anyway!!
